The Edge of Midnight has been around for almost three decades and during that time has sought to provide a space for people to explore muture themes in a fantasy roleplaying environment.

The game has been through several iterations of different game engines and is currently running off of a heavily modified version of the java based Coffeemud engine with a view of overhauling the combat systems in the near future.

The owners desire was to provide a place where people are open and happy about their sexuality and are given the opportunity to explore it in a persistent fantasy setting and although they have stepped away from the day to do running the mud that vision is still upheld today.
