EmpireMUD is back with version 2.0, massively updated from the year 2000-era EmpireMUD. The game engine is distantly derived from CircleMUD, with WAY more features and a focus on a game map where the players build every road, house, and tower. Since 2013, EmpireMUD has received regular updates from its original developer including major new features, upgrades to features that weren't quite working, and lots of great adventures.

EmpireMUD features a beautiful in-game ASCII map and also includes full screenreader support for visually impaired players developed with feedback from the community, so everyone can play together!
