Empire

Empire is a fantasy MUSH, telling the story of the Empire of Adana, the deeds and plans of influential people, and the wider world they exist in. The setting is original, with several inspirations, including Warhammer and Dragon Age.

Roleplay: Empire is a game of collaborative storytelling, where players each portray their character's particular part in the story.

Roster: Characters are selected from a prewritten roster. People play just one character at a time.

Game System: The game uses Cortex Prime as a basis for characters' sheets and dice rolls.

Socialising and Planning: Day-to-day roleplay is set in the city of Sanctuary, the imperial capital. Characters might socialise, negotiate with people from other houses or make grand plans.

GMed Events and Actions: The impact of characters on the world will be seen through GMed events, which are live scenes, and actions, allowing them to influence plots or world events even without being present for a live scene.

Characters versus the World: The focus of the game is on player characters dealing with the challenges presented by non-player characters and by the world itself.

Lords and Ladies: Though the exact definition of the genre is nebulous, this is probably a lords and ladies game.
