Rites of Passage is an EmlenMUD centered on intense player-versus-player combat, set against a classic struggle of good versus evil. Players can see and interact only with characters aligned to their own faction, all while hunting down and eliminating their enemies on the opposing side.
The world is vast and richly detailed, featuring over 18,000 rooms across more than 80 unique zones, each populated with distinctive mobs and quests. Players may choose from 24 races, each offering its own strengths, weaknesses, and playstyle.
The game offers 9 diverse professions, granting access to powerful, profession-specific skills and spells, alongside a broad selection of abilities available to all characters. Our robust remort system further expands customization, allowing players to select from an extensive range of options to refine, enhance, and personalize their characters however they choose.
