Nightmist Legacy is a browser-based multiplayer RPG — a modern remake of the classic text MUD Nightmist Online, rebuilt from the ground up while keeping the fast, no-nonsense combat and old-school depth that made the original special. No download, no client to install: make a character and you're playing in seconds.

Choose from seven races — Human, Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Half-Elf, Halfling and Half-Orc — and eight classes, each with its own feel:

- Fighter and Berserker trade blows in the front line

- Paladin blends steel with holy magic

- Mage rains arcane ruin from Shock up to the mighty Devastate

- Cleric and Druid heal, buff and shape the fight

- Ranger hunts at range with Dual Shot and Rapid Fire

- Thief strikes from the shadows and slips away again

Every stat matters. Strength drives your swing, Dexterity your accuracy, Constitution your health, Intelligence and Wisdom your spellcasting, Charisma your healing and your prices. Build the character you want, point by point.

There's a living world to explore on a day-and-night cycle: some creatures only stir after dark, others only walk by daylight. Party up with friends, form a clan and raise your own clan house — pub, bank, healing sauna, sparring arena and more. Tame a familiar that levels alongside you. Take on quests, chase achievements, forage, hide, morph, and test yourself against other players in dedicated PvP zones — with safe zones for when you'd rather not.

This is a multi-alt server — run up to 50 characters per account — so you can build a whole roster your way.
