Recently came back to MUDs. Been playing since early 80s. Aardwolf is an amazing game. SOOO many options available. Great community, even Gossip chan not bad in this world. Clans, char classes, races, it has tons of options.

Played several games over past year, just didn't like any of them, until Aardwolf.

Only downside, for me anyhoo is command syntax. Too many old sytems still running in my mind, differences between inspect/search/examine/look (etc) that it can be confusing. However I've watched players new to MUD gaming really take off and run with the game. So this is more an observation for people like myself. Tremendous tutorial (newbie academy) and an absolutely fantastic help file system. Honestly better than most I've seen. Advisors (guides) are available, almost 24/7 with maybe a few minutes (at most) response time for responding to questions.

Loving the game and really, really glad to be back to gaming with the brain.
