The good : It’s Shadowrun, It’s fun, it fits the cyberpunk genre.

The bad : No repercussions for seasoned players who break the rules.

My Experience : I had a lot fun with the base game mechanics. It scratched an itch that I cannot scratch on my own as none of my friends play Shadowrun. I had a lot of fun with the people that RPed. But on 05/14/2026 a series of updates were rolled out for the game. If you play a magical character, your buffs (often costing you something like 10k-20k currency to set up) are eaten during copy overs or crashes. I had simply said “It’s a shame I don’t have anything else to do tonight.” A character I never seen before logged in seemingly just to insult me. The rule 0 states don’t be a dick. But they were established with several friends OOC. So the rules didn’t apply to them. They were allowed to insult me with other players defending their actions as “attempting to be helpful.”

Seeing the rules so shamelessly broken with no repercussions just because they were well liked ultimately killed all the enjoyment I had in the game. This caused me to delete a character with whose story I was very much looking forward to exploring.

For the simple fact that rules mean nothing for well liked players, this mud is not worth trying.

Save your time, try a different MUD, and just avoid this place as much as possible.

(I’m sorry to the people who were really helpful, and genuinely fun to play with. But a few bad apples spoil the bunch.)
