ChatMUD

ChatMUD is a virtual world created in text, hosting a diverse community of players from all over the world who have come together to talk, learn, and create.

The playerbase consists of new and experienced programmers alike, builders and content creators, and conversationalists who are content to hang around and chat. Welcoming and laid-back, the community encourages creativity and curiosity, and there is almost always someone around to provide guidance if needed.

Communication mainly occurs on channels, of which there is a large variety to suit most interests. Players may gather to discuss anything from politics to gaming, or create their own channel if one doesn’t already exist.
