I've played MUDs on and off for the last 20 years, some RP-intensive and some more hack-n-slash. If you like the hack-n-slash variety, this is a great one! It's being actively developed and updated (and I mean with meaningful QoL and new areas & gear, not just minor tweaks), it's wonderful.

I started maybe a month ago and have been playing non-stop! It has an excellent sense of progression in the remort system, and there's tons of cool gear to chase. (The colors are really pretty too!)

But probably at the core of my enjoyment is the lovely community of players and admin, everyone has been incredibly welcoming and helpful from day one.
