I rated this as good, with a caveat that a larger player base would make it great. I have spent a week on the MUD, of which I have logged in to play 6 of those 7 days for at least an hour or two. This is not a typical hack and slash MUD, but would be better approached as as a slower paced way to enjoy your time and a slow growth.

No levels, you learn new skills/abilities in those skills, with lessons and coin. And part of why I rated this as good instead of excellent is that coins are hard to get for newcomers without the population of barter and exchange. But the reason I say good instead of lower is that the population that IS there, is very welcoming and helpful for newcomers.

The options for races, the class-less option to combine your skills to do what you enjoy (core skills form your 'build', and common skills you can take all of), and then live your life as the character you want to be. I would call it RP-lite, in that most conversation/emotes are just that, with RL kept to OOC.

After a week of play, I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for something with a good depth of various systems, magic, and a world to explore. Or just come and fish!
